Instant Screw Piles are used for a range of applications for structures where the founding soils have inadequate bearing strength. Instant Screw Piles are designed in accordance with AS 2159-2009 for structural strength and serviceability. Piles can be core filled with concrete to greatly increase structural capacity.
Corrosion allowance for steel piles is made in accordance with AS 2159-2009 Table 6.5.3 for the exposure classifications described. A 50-year design life is adopted, unless otherwise specified. Instant Screw Piles can be galvanized for further corrosion protection.
